required to hold a Chief Commisioner's Approval for Prohibited Weapons. This
Licence currently costs around $130. There are no specific sword laws in other
Australian states. The alternative is to become a member of a knife/sword club
such as the AKC(Australian Knife Club), for $20 per year, which will allow you
to buy a sword in Victoria. This is a far simpler option. Proof of membership
